Information about the Centre 
(Capacity, pricing, meeting areas)

Thank you for choosing the Anishinabe Spiritual Centre for your event, to better help you, please provide the following information:

  • I am aware that cost may change if I request additional services from the Centre during or before the event.
  • I agree to be the point person for this group while at the Centre, and any request or needs my group may have while at the Centre will be communicated through me.
  • I agree to provide payment within 30 days of the event´s completion.
  • We charge for a minimum of 15 people for meals and snacks (For example, if 10 people come for a meal, we charge for 15), If fewer than the numnber of people we are expecting come, we still charge for the number of people expected, we need your final numbers 1 week in advance.
  • In the event of cancelation, the deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Check-in times to dormitory rooms and cabins is 4:00pm; check-out is 12:00 noon.
  • The group will pay for the cost of any repair and/or replacement for damages incurred to the Centre property (over and above regular wear and tear), the repair/replacement fee will be calculated at full replacement value of items including installation cost where applicable.
  • The Centre, nor its employees, assume any responsibility for equipment that is lost, stolen, or damaged by the group, or for belongings that are brought or left on the premises by the group.
  • The Centre has an alcohol-free policy – thank you for respecting this.
  • Nature preservation; the non-human creatures had their home at the Centre long before the group arrived. Please respect the privileges of all wildlife, report any dead animals to the Centre´s office. Please do not pick flowers or cut or remove branches from live trees.
  • Phones: It is recommended that group members bring a calling card or cell phone to make long distance calls in order to avoid being billed for their calls.
  • Smoking: is permitted at the designated areas (by the entrance to the dining room, by the trees in front of the main entrance or, if cabins are being utilized, on the cabin deck).
  • The water at the Centre is tested very regularly, and is potable.
  • If you will bring a group of kids/youth/vulnerable sector, ASC request:
    • A letter and proof where the organizer or person in charge expresses that their staff has followed a screening process to allow them to work with the vulnerable sector involved (police check)
    • Proof of liability insurance
    • Parental consent for the kids participating in the program
    • A ratio of 1 adult for each 5 kids/youth
  • I hereby release the Centre and its members, directors, employees, volunteers, and independent contractors from all liability, claims, causes of action of any kind whatsoever in respect of all personal injuries, loss of life or property losses which any group member may suffer during the event at the Centre.
